The Youth Ministry of McCarthy Baptist Church
The Youth Ministry at McCarthy Baptist Church exists for the purpose of equipping students to know Jesus, follow Jesus, and serve and share Jesus. The goal for the youth group is to be a place where students can come and have fun, act crazy, but most importantly, grow in their love and commitment for Christ.
Our youth group name-Go M.A.D. means Go Make A Difference-- and that is exactly what we plan to do in every thing that we do.
On Wednesday nights at 6:00, we have a program called Insanity with music, games, and Bible Study. On Sunday mornings at 9:30, we have a bible study time where we are looking at the answers to life's big questions from a biblical, Christian worldview.
Every month, we also have special events or trips scheduled. These exciting events include everything from going to Lincoln for a Dare-2-Share conference, messy game night (see right), a lock-in at the Y, to a community service project. Every summer we also go all out and go on a mission trip or attend a major camp. We also spend our time serving and ministering to our community.
If you're looking for a place to grow in your faith, have a blast, and just belong, we'd love to have you visit us sometime. Until then--Go M.A.D.!
